well, I halfway took my advice, and i have finished 3 sculptures!!! now i just have to paint them!!! Shit! being creative is a never ending cycle of trial, error, success, failure and lots of other things that go together like peanut butter and naked ladies. I just need to finish one more project and i'll be good to post!

Woo hoo! I have compy time! Bleh. Anyhoo, just to make it short and sweet, I suck as an artist...heh heh. i have finally come to terms with that fallacy and have made peace with myself....somewhat. As I look at all of the unfinished projects sitting on my mantle (weeps for Samus), i'm telling myself that something needs to change. No, I stil havent found work; yes, i'm still in a financial slump (who isn't?)....wait a sec...did I have a point to make? Hmmm....guess not.

Wait! I remember! I am going to attempt (ATTEMPT!) to finish all of my crap in spite of eveything else...

I'm sure the two people that read my shit are thoroughly impressed with my new found resolve!!! *laughs*

Well...needless to say, I have not been very true to my word, which does indeed suck. Granted there are plenty of reasons (or excuses) as to why things have not been going according to my initial plan, but they all just seem like stupid excuses. A friend of mine suggested that i start a blog to curtail all of the dangerous and devious thoughts rattling around in my mind...don't worry, I won't subject you to my rantings...though I do feel the overwhelming need to talk, or do something other than the cycle of repetitiveness i'm stuck in at the moment...

Anyhoo...I hope to be able to submit something in the near future...if not for anyone else but myself...I think I need it...

Well sweet merciful crap, would you look at the time that has passed between entries!?!

Needless to say, I haven't been very true to my word...but that is being rectified...

Well, here i am...sitting at a friend's computer, gathering and composing my thoughts at an ungodly hour...and yet i would not have it any other way.

To keep it short and sweet, i made the decision (was coerced?) to join DA for the purpose of rekindling my love for art. After spending a few hours perusing the sights of the varied mediums employed by all the talented artists here, i can honestly say that i have a lot of work ahead of me if i want to regain that feeling of...never mind...heh heh...

No sense in getting lost in semantics...i just hope to regain that spark.
